New Call for Proposals IRP02 2026: An Opportunity for Co-Funding of Heating and Energy Renovation for Mountain Farms
We would like to inform farmers and agricultural holdings that, as part of the IRP02 public call for proposals—Agricultural Investments 2026—there is a significant opportunity available for co-financing investments in the modernization of agricultural activities, including in the areas of heating and energy efficiency of buildings.
The call is particularly relevant for farms engaged in the processing and drying of agricultural products, as well as livestock farming and agritourism.
Where is the call particularly useful?
Funds may also be allocated for:
- heating cheese dairies, butcher shops, and meat processing facilities
- systems for drying grains, herbs, and other agricultural products
- heating greenhouses and production areas
- transition to modern systems using wood biomass and other renewable energy sources
Level of co-financing
The call for proposals provides for co-financing of up to 50% of eligible costs; in certain cases, the support rate may reach higher percentages, depending on the type of farm and location (e.g., mountainous areas).

Applications may be submitted from April 23, 2026, to July 6, 2026, by 2:00 PM.
